Fuchsberg Law Center in Huntington, NY, in December 2005, he earned a place on the Dean’s list during the fall of that year. His academic prowess also shone during his time at Navarro College in City, TX, where he studied Pre-law from spring 2003 to fall 2003, maintaining an impressive GPA of 4.0 and consistently earning a spot on the Dean’s list.

The University of California Davis witnessed Bhusal’s academic dedication during the summer of 2002 when he delved into the intricacies of Orientation in USA Law and Master of International Commercial Law. This rich educational foundation was complemented by his certification as an advocate in Nepal in 2001 and the attainment of a Bachelor’s degree in law from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal, in 1999. His commitment to legal proficiency also led to a proficiency certification in law from Tribhuvan Multiple Campus, Palpa, Nepal, in 1995.

Bhusal’s legal acumen manifested in his pivotal roles at Legal Research & Advocacy of Jurists (LAJ) in Kathmandu, Nepal, from 2001 to 2002. Here, he conducted comprehensive legal research, drafted cases, and prepared memoranda spanning various legal domains, including torts, trust and estate, family law, and commercial law.

The realm of aviation witnessed Bhusal’s expertise as he served as a legal advisor for Karnali Air Pvt in Kathmandu, Nepal, from 1998 to 2000. In this capacity, he played a crucial role in drafting agreements for leasing and purchasing with international suppliers, and navigating complex negotiations with entities in the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, France, Bhutan, and India.

At Chhetri Law, Pitambhar Bhusal, serving as the Chief Administration officer,  played a key role in assisting hundreds of immigrants and business owners to navigate the legal system. He diligently connected them with the resources they needed, fostering trust and understanding. Founded in 1984 by the esteemed Super Lawyer, Mr. Khagendra Chhetri, the firm had a long history of excellence.

Mr. Chhetri himself carved a remarkable path, becoming the first Nepali lawyer to argue before the U.S. Supreme Court and later serving as vice-president of the Socialist International. His journey to the U.S. commenced on July 1st, 2002, marking the beginning of a diverse range of experiences. Notably, during the pandemic, Bhusal temporarily shifted to Texas, where he established multiple gas stations and retail businesses, showcasing his adaptability and entrepreneurial spirit. After two years, he returned to the bustling streets of New York City.

Pitambar Bhusal’s influence spans organizational leadership, with notable roles such as Chief Legal Counsel of NRNA NCC USA for the term 2021-2023 and Center Committee member and legal advisor of Nepali Public Relation Committee America from 2014. He played a pivotal role as the coordinator of the task force to initiate the establishment of a statue of B.P. Koirala, the founding president of the Nepali Congress Party, in New York City. This responsibility, assigned by the Nepali Congress Party, required seamless coordination with the Nepali Public Relations Committee America.
