Rudra Subedi: Never Quit on your Dream

In the sprawling commercial center of Nashville, where dreams harmonize with the chords of possibility, the tale of Rudra Subedi emerges as an embodiment of triumph. Born from the crucible of a refugee camp, his journey unfurled like a phoenix, blazing with tenacity, and ablaze with diligence.

In the annals of 2009, Rudra Subedi stepped upon the shores of the United States, where opportunity’s aura danced tantalizingly on the horizon. His initial steps tread as a humble store assistant, but destiny had grander designs.

Subedi’s past, rooted in the refugee camp of Jhapa, Nepal, reads like a poignant sonnet. The years 1992-2009 bore witness to his family’s exile from Bhutan, victims of an ethnic cleansing purge. Bereft of their homeland, they embarked upon a journey marked by destitution and despair.

Though Bhutan’s memory remained a distant whisper in his mind, Nepal became the cradle of his formative years. Education, for Rudra, was an oasis in a desert of hardship, witnessed through the lens of his parents’ relentless toil.

Drenched in sweat and ambition, he completed his schooling at the Damak Global Academy in Jhapa. Then, in 2009, he boarded the third-country resettlement to the United States, where his odyssey of entrepreneurship truly took flight.

In 2013, he started a business in Nashville under the name of Central Market, a hub of Nepali grocery and garments.

Central Market flourished, nurtured by the soil of community support and the sweat of Subedi’s brow. Family gatherings were exchanged for tireless hours of work, and the business burgeoned.

“I got huge support from my community and circle so that I got a chance to jump further.” ,” Subedi recalled the first memory of his business life.

In 2018, the entrepreneur ventured into the world of house flipping and real estate, a gamble that paid dividends. Guided by meticulous planning and unwavering dedication, he orchestrated three house flips in his debut year, accruing both financial buoyancy and expertise.

Nashville’s real estate market, with its meteoric ascent, became his elixir of prosperity, a testament to his acumen and foresight. A beacon to the burgeoning youth, Rudra Subedi, resplendent with vigor, epitomized the axiom that anything is attainable in the land of opportunity.

Time management, integrity, and familial support were the compass points of his success. In his benevolence, Subedi extended a hand to his community, supplying essentials and serving as a paragon of communal stewardship.

His property portfolio expanded, embracing endeavors such as Ecolodge Motel in Columbus, Ohio, a testament to hard work.

Today, as the specter of inflation looms, Rudra Subedi stands poised, the embodiment of life’s enduring struggle, steadfast in his belief that diligence, not luck, propels one to the zenith of success.

In the heart of Nashville, where the melodies of dreams still reverberate, Rudra Subedi harmoniously leads a life adorned with family, his wife, and two children. He says,

“Life is a struggle, and we must continue. We should not give up. Learn from your failure.”
